Mary got specs!

My baby girl got her very first pair of glasses today :o)

She looks so darned cute. Yeh, I know, she was cute without them. But, now she is even cuter!

You should have seen how she marveled at being able to see when she first put them on. It was so moving, that I shed a tear.

I felt really bad last week when the optometrist informed me of how bad her vision was. But, now that she has her glasses and can see like never before(literally), I am thankful to God for making me realize that she was in need of them.

Oh what a beautiful morning for a walk

What a beautiful morning it is! Thank you, Lord. 

It feels so incredible outside this morning...I told myself that I need to go for a walk because it is just too nice of a day to not do so...so I walked for 30 minutes...my feet remembered what to do with absolutely no problem at all... but my legs were like, woooooooah, what are you doing?! I just told 'em to suck it up and keep on moving...they put up a bit of a protest, but only for a little while...I guess I showed them ;o)


 

Gonna give it a go

So, a good friend of mine has hopped back onto the blogger bandwagon after being off of it for nearly a year. So, after reading her most recent post, I have now decided to jump onto it myself. Originally, this blog was for Mary. But, I have decided that we will share it. I will try and keep it up to date as best I can. I do tend to be forgetful; mind you. So, if you don't see it updated very often...well, you get the picture ;o)

Me And My Daddy

Me and my daddy have fun. We play. We watch football. Because we love the Vikings. We even have a shirt with the Vikings. Sometimes before bedtime, daddy reads to me. Daddy went to Anniston, but he will be back on the 26th. I love my daddy!

Lost Tooth

While I was watching tv in my room, I was wiggling my tooth. And then I wiggled it and wiggled it until it finally came out! I am so glad that I lost a top tooth. I am a big girl now. A big, big girl. I am so happy that I lost another tooth.

Me and Mama

Me and mama love to play games. We give hugs and kisses. We watch tv together sometimes. Sometimes we sit outside on the patio. And right now I give mama biiiiiiig hug. I love her so much. Sometimes she lets me on the computer. She gave me an mp3 player for Christmas. I got lots of toys from mama for Christmas. I got a lot of presents too for my birthday.
